Singapore GP – The other end of the Spectrum

Over the days, stories of the Singapore GP became the norm; leading to a decision by Phil Goodge and I to apply – as they say nothing ventured, nothing gained. After completing the application there was a nervous wait to see if my application had been accepted.

“Le Mans”

Incredibly it is now some forty years since I somehow managed to convince both my school and my parents that it would beneficial to my education if I attended the 1978 24 Hours of Le Mans. So along with Simon Arron (Who has since gone on to report on motor racing all over the globe) … Continue reading “Le Mans”

As well as the trucks, there would also be a very strong support package featuring Legends, Formula Fords, Mighty Minis, … Continue reading We Got Ourselves a Convoy!

Swapping the Orange for a Race Suit

After an overall fourth place finish last time out, it was the general goal to grab a podium this weekend. With a seemingly bombproof car beneath me, and the support of my fellow marshals lining the track, I was confident of reaching the higher end of the field once again. Blazing sunshine and temperatures in the … Continue reading Swapping the Orange for a Race Suit
